Valentines : curate & bestow collaboration

Happy Valentines Live Well community! Can I take a minute to shout out all my beautiful friends who know I have a thing for color themed holidays and celebrate them with a level of vigor that is only matched by most 8 year old’s and STILL associate with me! Gasp!

This valentines is relatively tame. I’ve decided to calm myself and just focus on one thing… this post! … this being said…there is a red dress in my closet that I’ve considered throwing on and posing for a selfie in and sending it around because, AHEM! It is way off the shoulder, low cut and absolutely FIRE! But I’m not sure... my heart covered pajamas are on and I have cued up the movie John Loves Mary circa 1949 written by Phoebe Ephron (Norah’s mom - you know Norah…from Julie & Julia, Sleepless in Seattle etc.) and am ready to simply indulge in that and this post this evening.

A new collaboration has me all excited and in the Valentines spirit especially since I used this gifting service to ensure my beautiful mom received a lovely Valentine in time!

LWFco: Tell us about yourself as founder of Curate & Bestow?

C&B: I am a legal professional residing in Northern Florida. I enjoy crafting, cooking and indoor cycling. C&B is a labor of love that comes from my personal passion for giving the perfect gift.

LWFco: Tell us about your business? How did you come up with the concept of this business ?

C&B: Curate & Bestow is a modern experience in gifting that focuses on tailoring unique items to convey heartfelt sentiments for your most cherished occasions.

2020 and the pandemic presented the world with a different way to approach all facets of life and greatly altered the ways we interacted with family and loved ones. As holidays and important occasions approached, I had to find unique ways to celebrate while being apart from loved ones. I created a gift for a dear girlfriend celebrating a milestone birthday and decided that I'd share my love of gifting with as many as I could through this business venture.

LWFco: Why is gift giving so important to you?

C&B: My personal mantra is "The manner of giving is worth more than the gift"-Pierre Corneille. Gifts are a love language for me so expressing that by creating the perfect gift and knowing that the recipient is pleased is both fulfilling and exhilarating.

LWFco: How can your business help others?

C&B: C&B makes the process of gift giving simple. We provide a personalized, non intimidating approach to gifting for all occasions. Our goal is to make gifting enjoyable. Though occasions are many, nothing creates memories better than gifts designed with your loved ones in mind.

LWFco: Valentines is the last major gift giving holiday of the season, a lot of people dislike the commercialism of the holiday though, how does C&B make gift giving on this special holiday and every occasion unique and personal?

C&B: We make every recipient the star of the show by ensuring that gifts are meaningful. Each occasion bears it's own importance so every gift box contains items that are hand selected to eliminate the commercial and pre-packaged feel of thoughtless gifts.
